Policy Statement for this website

Dear OCR Society Representatives,

The site was started and funded by the SCOCR. It was agreed that I would continue to maintain the site, showing OCR information, and offering space for societies as possible. When unusual requests are received, I will ask for guidance from the other Reps. If anyone has questions or objections to the way the site is maintained, please contact me. If we can't resolve the problem, it can be presented to the Reps.

At the OCR Planning Meeting held on Friday, August 1, 2003, in Asheville, it was suggested that all OCR societies could choose to be on the State Contact page of the confederate-rose.org website. Also, any state in the process of forming a society may ask to show a contact within that state.

There is no charge for having this information on the website.

You should visit all pages of the site, but particularly the contact page at:
http://www.confederate-rose.org/StateContacts.htm. If you are not listed, or wish to change your listing, notify the Webmaster. I need the name, address, phone, email, and website if any.

If you would like anything listed on the calendar page, I should be notified at least a month prior to the event. I found that I couldn't keep up with the frequent updates needed on the Violations page. If you have a heritage issue in your state, send me a website link that keeps current, and I will post it. If your society doesn't have its own website, I can make a page or two so you can show your chapters, officers, or SCV links. I can also add an occasional article or photos.

The Order of Confederate Rose WebRing, and the Logo shown on the Home Page & NavBar are owned by me personally. The eligibility requirements are stated when you click on Ring Hub. If you would like your SCV camp or division to join this WebRing, they will be welcome.
